Since it's just a three and a half hour drive away, Vienna holds all kinds of memories and images in my mind over the past years.
But today there is another image that comes to mind. Dave is there leading the "Advance Council".
This is a group of JV leaders who are all passionate about seeing the church grow throughout Central and Eastern Europe. They are praying for and planning the Advance Conference today and tomorrow.
Church planters from the countries where JV is working will gather at Malenovice in February 2012 to be taught, encouraged, prayed for and re-energized for birthing and leading new, healthy churches where the Gospel will go out from.
I'm praying today for a supernatural empowerment from the Lord over these meetings right now. That it wouldn't just be about ideas, discussion and plans...but that it would be about hearing from God, who loves his Bride, the church, and wants to see her flourish in these countries, and throughout the world.
I know that's the heart of all those who are in the meetings too. May this be a blessed time for them as they tune into God's special plan for the Advance conference.
